Alumni Relations

Volunteer Programs

As a volunteer or participant, you can directly impact the School of Law, its students, your fellow alumni and the community. We invite you to get involved in one or more of the programs listed below.

A Day in the Law

An experiential program which matches first-year law students, based on their preferred geographic area and practice setting, with alumni for a day over winter break.

Friends of PIFP

Organized by VLAA and the Villanova Law Public Interest Fellowship Program (PIFP) Steering Committee, Friends of PIFP is a group of alumni dedicated to helping ensure a successful public interest auction (PIFP's major fundraiser) by: 1) generating attendance by urging friends, colleagues and fellow alumni to attend and support the event, and 2) obtaining additional donations of any kind for the live and silent auctions. For more information or to join, contact the alumni office at 610-519-7054 or alumni@law.villanova.edu. To learn more about PIFP, click here.

Job Search Inspiration Project

A project designed to uplift and empower current students and recent graduates who may be facing a discouraging job market through the collection of job search stories and words of encouragement submitted by Villanova Law alumni.

Lawyering Together

A service-learning program which partners law students with alumni to work on a pro bono case through two public interest organizations in Philadelphia.

Minority Mentoring

A program sponsored by the Minority Alumni Society and Minority Student Associations through which minority alumni serve as mentors to minority students, providing valuable knowledge and insight into the legal and business professions, while also sharing practical advice concerning the challenges of law school.
